David Hamilton

David Hamilton is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Melbourne, Australia.
Typically working on small scale panels, his figurative paintings display a preoccupation with surface and a reductive, almost minimalist approach to expressing his subject, which take on a symbolic presence.
Hamilton graduated from RMIT University, Melbourne completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (Honours) and a Master of Art by Research (Painting).
His work has been exhibited both in Australia and Internationally and is held in numerous private collections.
The Artist is represented in New South Wales, Australia by Gallery Jennings Kerr.
